Currently and Sale

It is time again for Farley's February Currently! I just love these! So here goes...

Listening: My house is extremely quiet right now. My sweet daughter and hubby are outside in his shop. She loves to go out there with him and eat popcicles. I know, it is February, but she loves them!

Loving: Today is absolutely beautiful where I live. The sun is shining bright. It almost looks like a summer day, that is until you step outside and then you are reminded it is still February.

Thinking: Every year about this time, I begin to plan our summer vacation. I just cannot decide where to go this summer. If anyone has any wonderful, family-friendly ideas on the East Coast, feel free to comment. I am always up for suggestions.

Wanting: I am a sucker for cute outfits, and I am desperately ready to go shopping for the new spring arrivals. However, I will wait a few more weeks! I promise!

Needing: My house is in need of a serious cleaning and the laundry that is piled up is calling my name. Enough said about this one.

Pet Peeves: I really do not like people who do not tell the truth. I just cannot fathom why you would be untruthful about things. I also do not like excuses...from my students, from my friends, and even from myself.

You do not want to miss this wonderful Sunday Super Sale going on this Sunday on TpT. My entire TpT store will be 20% off. Plus, if you use the promo code "SUPER", you will receive an additional percentage off, bringing your savings to 28%! Now is a great time to stock up on some classroom resources. I have just uploaded some ELA Task Cards to use in your classroom. I have task cards for verbs, prepositions, sentence structure, comparative and superlative adjectivies, subject-verb agreement, and pronoun-antecedent agreement. They are great for center activities and for ELA test prep. Happy Shopping!

  3. Hi Andrea!

Thanks for stopping by my brand new blog. Good to know I have a few readers now, haha! Totally loving the colors of your layout -- super cute!!

And, because I'm very new and don't know my way around the blogosphere -- how did you get your answers to "currently" in the picture?

    1. I copied the picture from Farley's blog, and inserted it into PPT. From there, I inserted text boxes, then saved it as a pic. There may be another way to do it, but that is the way I have found that works for me. :) Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Hi Charlee! At the beginning of my post, click on Farley's February Currently, and it will take you to Farley's blog. Each month, she puts out a "currently" and people fill it in and links up to her HUGE linky. It is a wonderful way to get to know others and find new blogs to explore. If you have trouble, just let me know.

    3. In ppt, you should be able to insert text boxes. That is where you will input your responses.

  5. I've been dying to go clothes shopping, and I love that spring stuff is coming out! I went into the JCrew outlet and wanted to buy the whole store (of course, none of it was on sale yet). Laundry and cleaning are on my agenda this morning (if I stop blog-stalking) since I'm home with a sick baby.

  6. I teach in a rural school in Ontario - I love the atmosphere in our school - I think there is a real sense of community - I'm sure yours is the same. Glad to have found your blog.
